You know it's interesting to me how quickly we can cast away our own. People nowadays seem only to appreciate what you can do for them, how you make them look, and what they can get from you. I say that in regards to a particular incident that apparently took place in Berlin on sunday morning with a few Bahamian, Cuban, and American athletes.
By now we all have a take on this. I just want to drop a "Quelle's Thought" in there for you to ponder on maybe. How many times do you hear something about some one and then find out that it's not true? How many times in your life has someone warped your words? Who do you trust when it comes to information? How through are you when you receive information in making sure its accurate before you tell someone or foster an opinion? I came home today and in an instant, people online and in my company had already demonized their own friends , fellow Bahamians, or old classmates. I mean just freely, with no worry of weather they were adding to something that was not necessarily the whole truth. That making it more gossip than anything else. Who really knows what happened that night beside the people involved? You know we really should do a better job of holding the level of support up for people that "rep" for us , even when its seem like they may have taking a wrong turn. Believe it or not ....thats when they really need us. It's tragic the way we immediately make them "walk the plank" to show our disgust for a certain issue, when behind close doors we are doing worst and actually are apart of things that are detrimental to our way of life. (laughs) I guess we enjoy the masquerade .....As We Are ...///..peace peace
